User-Friendly like a Pouch, Versatile like a Ring Sling!
The UpMama is an adaptation the traditional ring sling (versatile but not very user-friendly) and pouch (user-friendly but not very versatile) resulting in a hybrid sling that is as accommodating as possible to first time users and newborns, and equally functional and user-friendly whether the child is an infant in a cradle hold or a toddler on the hip. The UpMama is well known for being the perfect first sling. It is a great gift for new babywearers and is super fast and "popable" for toddlers in that up-and-down stage. Overall, the UpMama requires far less adjusting than other slings.
Fabric - Cotton sateen with just a touch of stretch. This baby sling is unpadded and hugs your body nicely. The edges (rails) are serged in a rolled hem for smooth and easy adjustments.
Shoulder - Incredibly comfortable, spreads smoothly down across your back. Can be worn on either shoulder.
Pouch - A curved seam forms a "seat" positioning your baby correctly in cradle and hip positions. The curve and slightly stretchy fabric allow for a narrower body, reducing bulk and increasing style.
Pocket - Fashion print zippered pocket on the tail is big enough to hold a diaper, wallet, keys and a toy for baby.
